Your rental registration is due March 1, 2023. Please follow one of the steps listed below to renew your annual rental registration:

1. Detached and return the bottom portion of the invoice with payment in the enclosed envelope
2. Pay online and print certificate at https://ca.permitcleveland.org/RentalRegistrations

As a reminder, a rental unit is any portion of a residential structure that is available to rent for any length of time during the annual renewal cycle. The annual registration fee is $70.00 per unit, due by March 1 or within thirty (30) days of assuming ownership. Payments made after 4/15/2023 will be assessed a $100.00 late fee. All accounts with a partial balance will be assessed a late fee. Failure to pay the appropriate fee may result in prosecution or other penalties as provided by law. All rental property must comply with chapter 365, 369, and 371 of the Cleveland Codified Ordinances. The purpose of this ordinance is to help ensure that residential property owners in the City maintain a decent, safe and sanitary dwelling and the dwelling is operated in a manner that does not become a nuisance or cause blight that creates a disincentive to reinvest in Cleveland neighborhoods.
